165 Assistant Engineers appointed in 11 departments and 05 Junior Assistants in Audit Department, Chief Minister gave appointment letters to 170 candidates

Dehradun: 24 on the post of Assistant Engineer, Civil Engineering (Rural Construction Department), 44 on the post of Assistant Engineer, Civil Engineering (Irrigation Department), 20 on the post of Assistant Engineer, Civil Engineering (Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan), 41 on the post of Assistant Engineer, Civil Engineering (Public Works Department), 14 on the post of Assistant Engineer, Civil Engineering (Housing Department), 10 on the post of Assistant Engineer, Mechanical Engineering (Irrigation Department), 06 on the post of Assistant Engineer, Agricultural Engineering (Minor Irrigation Department), 02-02 on the post of Assistant Engineer, Civil Engineering (Minor Irrigation Department) and Assistant Electrical Inspector, (Energy Department) and Assistant Engineer, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (Public Works Department) and Assistant Engineer, Electrical/Mechanical Appointment letter was given to 01-01 candidate on the post of Engineering (Rural Construction Department).

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while wishing all the candidates who received the appointment letter, expressed hope that the candidates who got the appointment will serve the people with dedication and devotion in whatever field they are getting the opportunity to serve. He said that the main objective of giving appointment today is that all the candidates can get the benefit of the selection year. The Chief Minister said that the state government is working rapidly in every field to bring Uttarakhand in the category of leading states of the country. He expected from all the selected candidates that all the selected candidates will contribute in making Uttarakhand the best state by doing better work in their field. The Chief Minister said that everyone has to work to increase the pride of their parents and the state by giving 100 percent contribution in their field.

The Chief Minister said that in the last 03 years, the effort of the state government has been to connect the youth with employment and self-employment in every field. In these 03 years, a total of 14 thousand 800 appointments have been provided through Public Service Commission, Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission and Medical Selection Board. Strict anti-cheating law has been implemented in the state. Since the implementation of anti-cheating law, all recruitment examinations have been conducted with complete transparency. Under this law, provisions have been made for strict action against the culprits. The Chief Minister said that he has worked in youth politics since the university, the youth has always been his priority.

Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj, while wishing a bright future for all the selected candidates, expressed hope that all the Assistant Engineers will work with excellence in their field and contribute to making Uttarakhand a developed state. He said that all the selected candidates should carry the feeling in their mind that there will be new things to learn in the field all the time, they have to move forward by assimilating them.

Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal, while congratulating all the selected candidates, said that this is the beginning of a new innings of life for the selected candidates. He said that there was a shortage of Assistant Engineers in Uttarakhand for a long time. New appointments will speed up the work. He said that there are development authorities in 09 districts of the state, in which assistant engineers will be appointed. The main objective of forming the authority in the state is to ensure planned development of the areas.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Vinay Shankar Pandey, S.N. Pandey, Vice President MDDA Banshidhar Tiwari, Additional Secretary Vineet Kumar, Karmendra Singh and heads of the concerned departments were present.
