Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the “Government for the People, at the Doorstep of the People” program has become a powerful medium for good governance, sensitivity, and solutions in the state. The government is committed to ensuring that no citizen is deprived of schemes and services. As of December 31, 2025, 173 camps have been organized in 13 districts of the state, in which more than 1,08,710 applications were received. Of these, 15,730 applications were resolved quickly, and certificates and services were provided to more than 11,493 citizens on the spot. Through this campaign, more than 63,202 people have benefited from various government schemes.
The Chief Minister said that this campaign is not limited to statistics alone, but is an effort to restore public trust and bridge the gap between the government and the people. Administrative officers in every district have been instructed to reach out to the disabled, the elderly, women, and weaker sections of society and ensure that their problems are resolved.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “My government’s priority is to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every eligible person in a timely and transparent manner. The ‘Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep’ campaign is a result of this very thinking. Good governance in Uttarakhand is now visible not just on paper, but on the ground.”
The Chief Minister has instructed the officers to ensure the timely disposal of pending applications, continuous monitoring of the camps, and a sensitive and accountable administration at the field level. The state government is continuously moving forward with its commitment to service, good governance, and development, along with the trust of the people.
