26 IAS and 21 IPS transferred in Madhya Pradesh, Vidisha collector removed after temple-mosque dispute

Bhopal: A large number of IAS and IPS officers have been transferred in Madhya Pradesh late Saturday night. A total of 26 IAS officers, including the collectors of 7 districts of the state, have been transferred. Also, a total of 21 IPS officers, including the SPs of 7 districts, have been transferred. After the Bija Mandal temple-mosque dispute, the Vidisha collector has also been removed.

Collectors of 7 districts changed

Collectors of 7 districts have been changed late night in Madhya Pradesh. These include Vidisha, Shahdol, Mandla, Rajgarh, Balaghat, Dindori, Anuppur and Neemuch districts. New collectors have been appointed in all these districts. 26 IAS officers, including the collectors of 7 districts, have been transferred. After the Bija Mandal temple-mosque dispute in Vidisha, Vidisha collector Buddesh Kumar has been sent to the ministry.

Transfer of 21 IPS officers

A total of 21 IPS officers including SPs of 7 districts have been transferred late night. The districts in which new SPs have been transferred include Raisen, Morena, Anuppur, Pandhurna, Mauganj, Balaghat and Mandsaur districts.
