Almora: The list of dead and injured in the bus accident has been released by the Almora District Management Officer. According to the list, the bus number UK12 PA 0061 of Garhwal Motor Owners Union Limited met with an accident near Marchula on Kupi Motor Road under Salt Tehsil of Almora at 8:45 am. 28 people died on the spot in the accident while 8 injured died in the hospital during treatment. In total, 36 people have died so far. While the treatment of 27 injured is going on in different hospitals.
According to the list of District Disaster Management Almora, there were 63 people in the bus. In which 20 men died on the spot. While 8 women lost their lives at the accident site itself. Apart from this, 6 men and 2 women are included in the 8 people who died during treatment.
At the same time, 27 people are being treated in different hospitals. There are 18 men and 9 women in it. Two girls aged 4 and 8 years are also included in the injured. Both are being treated in Ramnagar Sub-District Hospital. The deceased include husband-wife and 37-year-old father and 5-year-old son who died on the spot.
Opposition to CM Dhami
CM Dhami, who reached Ramnagar hospital to know the condition of the injured, had to face opposition from the people. People raised slogans against CM Dhami and demanded to remove the hospital from PPP mode.
