Dehradun: The figure of disposal of complaints in Uttarakhand has improved within the last few months. What is the real reason behind this? It is difficult to say. But during the review meeting, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had definitely instructed the officers to expedite the disposal of complaints. A total of 5 lakh 94 thousand 268 complaints have been received in CM Helpline 1905 in the state. Out of which 4 lakh 6 thousand 781 complaints have been closed satisfactorily.
The new figures of CM Helpline 1905 in Uttarakhand are good news for the government. Actually, it is clear from the new figures that CM Helpline 1905 has performed better in the state in the last some time. During this, the number of complaints being closed satisfactorily is increasing. Although the review of Chief Minister Helpline 1905 was done in the month of July and after that due to various reasons, it could not be reviewed at the level of the Chief Minister. But despite this, after the strict instructions given at the level of the Chief Minister in the month of July, better results are coming out in terms of redressal of the complaints received from the people.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami himself is monitoring CM Helpline 1905. Not only this, the officers associated with the Chief Minister’s setup were directly operating the helpline. However, in the recent past, now this entire work has been given to the Department of Information Technology.
Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is very serious about CM Helpline 1905, that is why he also monitors from time to time the disposal of the complaints coming in it and also gives guidelines to the officials. During the review meeting held earlier, the Chief Minister had also instructed the officials to increase the disposal percentage and asked them to listen to the problems of the people seriously and try to solve it. As a result of this, the satisfaction level regarding the disposal of complaints has increased in the recent past. During the meeting, an explanation was also sought from the officials who were negligent. During that, 1 lakh 9 thousand 45 complaints were closed satisfactorily in the month of July. Whereas before this, 99 thousand 46 complaints were closed satisfactorily in the month of June. If we look at the latest figures, so far 5 lakh 94 thousand 268 complaints have been received on the CM Helpline portal in the state. Out of which 4 lakh 6 thousand 781 complaints have been closed satisfactorily. Overall, this is about 68 percent of the total complaints. That is, 68 percent of the complaints received on the CM portal in the state are being resolved satisfactorily.
