Jaipur: Utkal Ranjan Sahoo, who was assigned as acting chief of the Rajasthan police, has now been appointed as the full-time DGP of the state following the recommendation of the UPSC. A 1988-batch IPS officer, Sahoo, replaced Umesh Mishra when the latter decided to take VRS back in December. TNN
