Uttarakhand: BJP may announce the candidates for LS polls soon, BL Santosh took a review of all the campaigns

Dehradun: BJP in Uttarakhand is going to announce the list of candidates for five Lok Sabha seats in the state possibly very soon. In this concern, different rounds of meetings have been organized in the presence of BJP’s National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh. Additionally, a review meeting was also organized at the party headquarters regarding five major campaigns conducted to outreach the voters in the state. BJP’s National President JP Nadda will also visit Uttarakhand on 28th February.

BJP has called a meeting of ‘State Parliament Board’ on 26th February

State BJP President Mahendra Bhatt said that the party has appointed observers who are preparing the panel of candidates discussing the issues on various levels. There will be a meeting of the Pradesh Parliamentary Board on 26th February, after which the list of selected candidates will be sent to the Center.

BL Santosh took a review of election campaigns reports

Giving information about the meetings, BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that in the presence of National Organization General secretary BL Santosh, reports of the election campaigns conducted till last days were presented yesterday. In addition, reports were also presented in the meeting by the coordinators of various election campaigns. Therefore, the state coordinators and co-coordinators of Gaon Chalo campaign, wall writing campaign, women support group and NGO contact campaign, party joining campaign and beneficiary contact campaign participated in the meeting and have given their reports. He said that a strategy has also been prepared for the election campaigns till March 15.

BJP National President JP Nadda will participate in three programs

Mahendra Bhatt informed that on February 28, National President JP Nadda will reach Uttarakhand on his two-days stay. During this, he will first address the conference of workers and officials at both the seats of Kumaon Cluster in Haldwani, in which more than 20 thousand people are expected to attend. His programs will be organized in Haldwani, Haridwar and Dehradun.

Party membership given to 5000 people in Uttarakhand

According to Mahendra Bhatt, over 5000 people have taken the membership of BJP in Uttarakhand in the last few months and this membership program will continue in coming days as well. He said that under the beneficiary contact campaign, all the party officials will directly contact the beneficiaries. He also said that around 25000-30000 party workers will form the teams and contact over ten lakhs beneficiaries in the state.
