Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi reviewed the works of Sports Department

Dehradun: Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi reviewed the  progress of Shri Purnanand Sports Stadium, Muni Ki Reti Tehri and Indira Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Haldwani with the Sports Department in the Vidhan Sabha Bhawan.  CS Smt. Radha Raturi has given instructions to construct multipurpose building at Shri Purnanand Sports Stadium, Muni Ki Reti with Pahari architecture of Urrarakhand .  Along with this, She also reviewed the works of SITC OF DMX Integrated “LED” Flood Light for High Definition Televised International Level at Indira Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Haldwani.

Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi directed the Sports Department to complete the sports infrastructure works in the state on mission mode as soon as possible.  CS said that the sports infrastructure developed in the state will benefit the players and youth of the state for a long time in future along with the proposed National Games in Uttarakhand.

Special Principal Secretary  Amit Sinha, Secretary Arvind Singh Hayanki, Additional Secretary  Vijay Kumar Jogdande and Jitendra Kumar Sonkar and officials of sports and related departments were present in the meeting.
