Chandigarh: The Haryana state government recently transferred and posted several IAS officers, affecting several positions including deputy commissioners (DCs) across multiple districts.
IAS Uttam Singh (2015 batch), previously serving as the DC of Hisar, has been appointed as the new DC of Karnal, taking over from IAS officer Anish Yadav. Yadav (2014 batch), in turn, has been assigned the role of Managing Director for both the Haryana Medical Services Corporation and the Haryana State Federation of Co-operative Sugar Mills.
IAS officer Pradeep Dahiya (2013 batch), formerly the Commissioner of the Hisar Municipal Corporation, has been entrusted with the additional role of DC of Hisar.
IAS officer Ram Kumar Singh (2012 batch) has been posted as the Special Secretary in the revenue department to become the DC of Sirsa, succeeding IAS officer Parth Gupta. Gupta (2013 batch) has been reassigned as the additional Chief Executive Officer of the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority.
IAS officer Rahul Narwal (2016 batch), previously the Commissioner at the Panipat Municipal Corporation, has been transferred to Fatehabad to serve as the Deputy Commissioner, replacing IAS officer Ajay Tomar. Tomar (2012 batch) has been appointed as the Director of the Information Technology Department.
