IAS officer Shailesh Bagauli is handling the responsibility of Home Secretary in Uttarakhand. Apart from this, the Chief Minister is also handling the responsibility of the Secretary. In such a situation, after the Election Commission of India has issued orders to change the Home Secretary, now some other officer from the Uttarakhand Government will be made the Home Secretary. It is the responsibility of the Home Department to organize the security system in any state. But during elections, the responsibility of the Home Department increases even more.
