PCS officers Ashok Kumar and Pankaj got the responsibility of Kedarnath-Badrinath, appointed as Yatra Magistrate

Dehradun: In view of the crowd of devotees in the Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra, many steps have been taken by the government, so that the devotees do not face any kind of problems and the arrangements also continue smoothly. In this sequence, the Uttarakhand government has deployed Ashok Kumar Pandey as Yatra Magistrate in Badrinath Dham and Pankaj Kumar Upadhyay in Kedarnath Dham from 26 May to 6 June.

Chief Development Officer of Nainital district Ashok Kumar Pandey has been given the responsibility of Yatra Magistrate in Badrinath Dham. At the same time, Additional District Magistrate Administration of Udham Singh Nagar district Pankaj Kumar Upadhyay has got the responsibility of Yatra Magistrate in Kedarnath.

Let us tell you that this time a large number of devotees are reaching the Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra. Seeing the enthusiasm of the devotees, it seems that this year in 2024, Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra will break all its previous records. Most devotees are reaching Kedarnath Dham. The doors of Kedarnath Dham were opened on May 10. In the last 16 days, more than five lakh devotees have visited Kedarnath Dham. The situation is similar in Badrinath Dham. Here too, about 2.50 lakh devotees have visited till now. The doors of Badrinath Dham were opened on 12 May.

The government is hopeful that a large number of devotees will come to visit Char Dham this week. That is why the government has appointed PCS officers Pankaj Kumar Upadhyay and Ashok Kumar Pandey as Yatra Magistrates in Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham. Both the officers have been given the responsibility of maintaining the arrangements in the Dham, so that the Yatra continues smoothly.
