Nainital: In a spiritual quest, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar visited Baba Neem Karoli shrine in Kainchi situated in Nainital district, on Thursday. After visiting the revered shrine, VP expressed his experiences of the shrine and said that he is overwhelmed by visiting this shrine.
A new spiritual energy has been infused
Vice president has also said that a new spiritual energy has been infused by visiting Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj and he has experienced the confluence of religiosity, nobility and spirituality. Moreover, the highest principles laid down by Baba Meen Karoli Maharaj are exemplary for all. Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar and his wife Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar visited Kainchi Dham in Nainital and spent time with the ashram residents.
India’s 5000-year cultural heritage is unmatched in the world
After visiting Kainchi Dham, he said that visiting this holy place has infused a new energy in his mind and has increased his sense of devotion towards the nation and he has felt the confluence of religiosity, nobility and spirituality at this place. He emphasized that “this is the place where great men lived whose highest principles are exemplary for all.” Drawing attention to India’s excellent cultural heritage, the Vice President said that “India’s 5000-year-old cultural heritage is unmatched in the world and Indian culture holds an important place in solving today’s global problems.”
He was welcomed by Uttarakhand governor
Earlier, on his arrival at Haldwani, he was welcomed by the Honorable Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh and Honorable Minister in the Uttarakhand Government, Shri Ganesh Joshi.
Kainchi Dham was established by Baba Neem Karoli
Kainchi Dham was established by a great saint Shri Neem Karoli Baba in the 1960s at Kainchi village on Nainital-Almora road. It’s a holy temple and ashram surrounded by hills and trees and a river flowing beside it. Neeb Karori Baba who is more popularly known as Neem Karoli Baba is revered by thousands of devotees who throng from various parts of the country.
