Nainital: Mission Director NHM Swati S. Bhadoria visited Nainital district. During this, the Mission Director did surprise inspection of many hospitals and evaluated the facilities and quality of health services available in the hospitals. During the inspection of BD Pandey District Hospital located in Nainital, she instructed the officials to fill the vacant posts under NHM soon.

During the inspection of the hospital, Mission Director NHM Swati Bhadoria visited various departments, which included ultrasound, emergency, lab, maternity ward, store and other important departments.

The Mission Director NHM gave instructions to provide better health facilities to the public and to provide better health facilities to the women coming to the district hospital for delivery and emergency services and to identify high risk pregnancy in pregnant women and get institutional delivery done.

Mission Director NHM Swati S Bhadoria directed the Chief Medical Officer to take necessary action for opening 2 Urban Health Centres in Nainital district. She directed to select a place for construction of Type 4 building, medical store, parking, critical care block, OPD block in the hospital under National Health Mission.

Mission Director NHM Swati S Bhadoria directed the Chief Medical Officer to prepare the papers for construction of Type 4, Type 3 buildings in GB Pant Hospital premises and bring them before the District Health Committee.

Mission Director NHM Swati S Bhadoria, during inspection, directed the concerned to expedite the approved construction works in Bhawali Sanatorium, Base Hospital and to select a place in Dhari, Okhalkanda, Ramgarh, Ramnagar for BPHU.

She directed the officials to obtain the No Use Certificate for the 4 buildings to be demolished in the hospital on priority basis and make it available to the state. During the inspection of Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Khurpatal by Mission Director NHM Swati S Bhadoria, the Chief Medical Officer was instructed to send the demand letter on time for the medicines under EDL through online e-portal. The Chief Medical Officer was instructed to get the work done on the portal on time by all the Community Health Officers (CHOs) of the district on time.

During the inspection, she also met the hospital staff and listened to their problems and suggestions. She instructed the hospital superintendent to do all the necessary improvement works as soon as possible and provide high quality health services to the patients.
