Dehradun: CRPF trainee officers who came to Uttarakhand on an educational tour made a courtesy call on Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi at the Secretariat. Detailed discussions were held between the Chief Secretary and the CRPF trainee officers regarding disaster management in the state, development work in border villages and development schemes being run in the state.
Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi said that CRPF has a very important role in maintaining law and order and assisting the states in anti-terrorism operations. With a nationwide presence, in collaboration with the state police, its remarkable ability to quickly adjust to various situational demands has given CRPF the reputation of being one of the most widely accepted forces. Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi wished the trainee officers a bright future.
