CM Dhami’s instructions to officers – Verification campaign to identify suspicious outsiders should be run more strictly

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to run an intensive verification campaign to identify suspicious outsiders in the state. Said, know about the people of outside states, what is their purpose of buying land in the state and whether any criminal case is going on against them.

The CM gave these instructions with the aim of preventing suspicious and criminal type of people from settling in the state. On Thursday, he called a meeting of high officials at his residence, in which the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, Secretary Home and many other officers were present. The CM took information from them about the verification campaign and directed to run it more effectively.

He said, law and order should be followed strictly. He said, all the outsiders who are coming to buy land in the state, they will have to tell for what purpose they are buying the land. He warned the officers to also find out the purpose of purchasing land along with criminal details in such cases.

Get a declaration filled at the time of land purchase

He said, for this, a declaration should be filled from them on the prescribed format. Before outsiders buy land, it should also be thoroughly investigated whether any criminal case is going on against them. If a criminal case is found against a person during the investigation, it should be clearly mentioned on the format.

People with criminal tendencies should be identified

People with criminal tendencies should be identified to maintain the cultural and peaceful environment of Uttarakhand. He instructed to identify such suspicious people. He said, strict action should be taken against those who play with law and order.

Strict action should be taken against those who are negligent

The CM instructed the Chief Secretary to review the problems of forest fire, drinking water, and electricity by holding regular meetings and whatever effective measures are to be taken to avoid such problems in future, should be taken soon. Strict action should be taken against those who are negligent in their work.

Disaster management, prepare for Kanwar Yatra from now

The CM, while giving instructions to keep all preparations for disaster management and the upcoming Kanwar Yatra complete, said, senior officers of the government should be in regular touch with all the District Magistrates. Any request for assistance from the districts should be resolved as soon as possible. The campaign for plantation along with water conservation and enhancement should be linked with the public campaign.
