Speculations of expansion of Dhami cabinet intensify, many veteran leaders including CM-state president camped in Delhi

Dehradun: In view of filling the four ministerial posts lying vacant in the Dhami cabinet, now the buzz has started again. The discussion of Dhami cabinet expansion has gained momentum with the BJP meeting to be held in Delhi on Tuesday regarding the results of the Lok Sabha elections and upcoming programs and by-elections.

BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt indicated in a conversation with the media that in this important meeting, along with other issues, it is possible to consider the subject of cabinet expansion in the state and giving responsibilities to party leaders.

Four ministerial posts are vacant

The Dhami cabinet currently has eight ministers including Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The issue of filling the four vacant ministerial posts has been hanging for a long time due to various reasons. However, whenever the Chief Minister goes to Delhi, there is a discussion of cabinet expansion.

Now that Chief Minister Dhami along with the state in-charge, co-in-charge and state president and all the MPs have gone to attend the party meeting to be held in Delhi on Tuesday, the discussion of cabinet expansion and giving responsibilities to some party leaders has gained momentum.

By-election will be discussed

BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt, while talking to the media at the state headquarters on Monday, said that the Lok Sabha election results, by-elections of two assembly seats and upcoming programs will be discussed in the meeting to be held in Delhi on Tuesday in the presence of BJP National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh.

Along with other topics, cabinet expansion in the state government can also be discussed in the meeting to be held at the residence of Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta in Delhi. Not only this, there will also be a detailed discussion in the meeting regarding the civic and panchayat elections to be held in the state.

On a question, Bhatt said that all the workers are working together to make the lotus bloom in the by-election of Badrinath seat of the assembly. He said that along with Badrinath, BJP is sure to win the by-election of Mangalore seat.

Star campaigners’ tours will start from June 26

He said that after the withdrawal of nominations on June 26, the tours of star campaigners will start in both the areas. Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, MLA Bharat Singh and other MLAs have taken charge of the election campaign on the Badrinath seat. Garhwal MP Anil Baluni will take charge there after June 3.

Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna will also visit this area from June 3 to 5. He said that the visits of former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Haridwar MP and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat have also been fixed. The programs of other campaigners are being finalized.

Welcoming the decision to fix 33 percent reservation for women in the management committee of cooperative societies, he expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for this. He said that this decision reflects the BJP’s commitment towards the empowerment of women power.
