On June 29th, the government of Gujarat mandated the transfer of three IAS officers. Mr. Hareet Shukla (1999-batch IAS officer) replaced Ms. P Bharathi (2005-batch IAS officer) as the new Chief Electoral Officer for the State of Gujarat.
Mr. P D Palsana (2012-batch IAS officer), presently posted as the Joint Chief Electoral Officer, was made Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation in Gandhinagar.
Mr. B H Talati (2010-batch IAS officer), the incumbent Additional Secretary of the Climate Change department in Gandhinagar, was asked to assume office as the Special Director in the State Institute of Rural Development(SIRD), Ahmedabad.
