Lately, the government of Assam mandated the transfer and posting of three IAS officers.
Mr. Ajay Tiwari (1993 batch), presently posted as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Home & Political Department, was asked to take up additional charge as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Mines & Minerals Department.
Dr. Lakshmanan S (2011 batch), presently posted as a Secretary in the Department of Industries Commerce & Public Enterprises, Mines & Minerals Departments and CM’s Secretariat with Additional Charge of MD of the Guwahati Smart City Limited, was relieved of the charge of Secretary in the Mines & Minerals Department and given additional charge as MD of National Health Mission.
Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya (2014 batch), the incumbent MD in the National Health Mission and additional charge as Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department, was transferred and posted as Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department.
