Weather-friendly roads will be built
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in the budget speech, “The fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana will be launched, under which 25,000 rural settlements will be provided with all-weather-friendly roads.”

In this budget, the Finance Minister has announced the Purvodaya Scheme, through which the government plans to brighten eastern India. The Center announced the Purvodaya Scheme for the development of eastern states like Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. Under this, focus will be given on human resource development, infrastructure development.
