Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday announced to increase the corpus fund of the Journalist Welfare Fund from Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore. This step has been taken keeping in mind the financial security of journalists and their betterment. He also directed the departmental officers to test the implementation of group insurance for journalists.

Review of Information and Public Relations Department

Let us tell you that during the review of the Information and Public Relations Department, Chief Minister Dhami started reviewing the departmental meetings by visiting the Directorate office. In this review meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized on the use of modern technology to reach welfare schemes, policies and decisions to every citizen. This meeting lasted for about five hours, in which the Chief Minister took stock of the progress of departmental works.
