IPS Nikhil Kumar Kanodia Appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer of Airports Authority of India

In a recent administrative development, IPS officer Nikhil Kumar Kanodia (IPS: 2003: OD) has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) in Delhi.

This decision was formalized in an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

According to the order, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Mr. Kanodia’s appointment for a term up to July 23, 2024.

This term will be in effect from the date he assumes charge of the position, or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first. The appointment marks the culmination of a combined deputation tenure of seven years in both Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) and non-CSS posts.
