Dehradun: On the birthday of Uttarakhand’s famous folk singer ‘Garh Ratna’ Narendra Singh Negi, a concentrated book ‘Kal Phir Jab Subah Hogi’ was released. This book is based on 101 songs of Narendra Singh Negi. Which has been prepared by senior litterateur Lalit Mohan Raiyal. Which was released by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. During this, on the occasion, folk singer Narendra Singh Negi sang the song ‘Thando Re Thando’ along with a song based on the migration taking place in the state.

CM Dhami congratulated folk singer Narendra Singh Negi on his birthday and the release of the book made on Negi Da’s songs. CM Dhani said that he had met Narendra Singh Negi a few days ago. During that time itself he had congratulated Narendra Negi on his birthday in advance. Also, CM Dhami congratulated the author Lalit Mohan Raiyal and said that he has done the work of combining the heritage of the state by stringing the songs into a book.

At the same time, during the program, Narendra Singh Negi sang some songs, on which people were also seen dancing. CM Dhami said that Narendra Singh Negi is saving the culture through his songs. He is also giving people a chance to hum. He also said that Narendra Singh Negi always takes care of his fans. He himself is his fan and whenever he is in any of his programs, he remembers Narendra Singh Negi’s song and he hums it.

CM Dhami presented a check of Rs 2.51 lakh

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami honored folk singer Narendra Singh Negi with Uttarakhand Lok Samman and presented a check of Rs 2.51 lakh. While, Lalit Mohan Raiyal’s efforts were appreciated and this book was described as a work to preserve for the future generation. Raiyal has presented the analysis of 101 songs of Negi Da in front of the people in the form of a 400-page treatise i.e. a book. Negi Da has a personality as unshakable as the Himalayas CM Dhami said that Narendra Singh Negi is a great son of Devbhoomi with a personality as unshakable as the Himalayas. His songs work to introduce us to the challenges of the mountain along with our surroundings. His songs are a mixture of nature, tradition, environment, separation and sorrow, which connects us with our rich traditions and folk culture. His songs will work to carry forward the rich tradition of our heritage from generation to generation. It will also work to inspire the youth.
