Dehradun: 36 proposals have been approved in the meeting held in the Secretariat on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Mainly after the OBC Reservation Act for the municipal bodies was approved by the deviation, the related proposal was placed before the cabinet. On which the cabinet has authorized the Chief Minister for the OBC Reservation Act of the bodies. Along with this, during the cabinet meeting, the cabinet has approved to make Pithoragarh and Almora a municipal corporation.
Urban Development Minister Premchand Aggarwal said that 36 proposals have been approved during the cabinet meeting. In which mainly the proposal to make Pithoragarh and Almora a municipal corporation has been approved. Doiwala was till now a C grade municipality, which has got approval on the proposal to bring it to C-one grade. In such a situation, the government will move forward towards conducting the body elections very soon. Also said that the Chief Minister has been authorized for the OBC Reservation Act of the bodies. In such a case, first the demarcation of municipal bodies will be completed, after that OBC reservation will be done and municipal elections will be conducted.
Dhami Cabinet approved these proposals
– Approval to include Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/Secretary, Rural Development and Commissioner, Rural Development as a member in the Board of Governance of Uttarakhand Gram Vikas and Panchayati Raj Sansthan in the list of Board of Governors of Rural Development Department-Uttarakhand Gram Vikas and Panchayati Raj Sansthan
– Approval was given regarding re-implementation of One Time Settlement Scheme to amend Sub-rule (5) of Rule-14 of Uttarakhand Mining (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage) Rules 2024
– Approval to promulgate Uttarakhand Surface and Mining Mineral Supervisor Service Rules 2024
– Approval to promulgate Uttarakhand Geology and Mining Subordinate Technical Service Rules 2024
– Creation of a total of 7 posts for the operation of the newly constructed Old Age and Disabled Housing Home with a capacity of 50 elderly persons at Raiwala, Dehradun under the Social Welfare Department Approval. Apart from this, approval for construction of old age and disabled housing in every district of the state
– Approval for promulgation of Uttarakhand Territorial Armed Constable Subordinate Officer Service (Amendment) Rules 2024
– Approval of the policy for payment of compensation amount on the death of Uttarakhand prisoner (2024). Under this, compensation amount of 2 lakh to 5 lakh will be provided
– Decision regarding adjustment of salary during the strike period of Uttarakhand Diploma Engineers Federation and earned leave of the concerned personnel
– Approval to create 9 temporary posts of field assistant/master trainer in Aromatic Plant Center, Selaqui under Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department
– Bhagwanpur Mandi will be made the main Mandi under Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department
– Approval for the extension of the boundary of Municipal Council Ramnagar under Urban Development Department
– Approval regarding separation of Semigwad area from Municipal Council Karnaprayag under Urban Development Department
– 6 posts have been unfrozen in Uttarakhand State Council of Science and Technology (U-COST), an autonomous institution operating under Science and Technology Department, Information Technology Suraj and Science Technology Section-2, regarding unfreezing of vacant posts and starting the recruitment process.
