Senior diplomat of 1993 batch IFS Sanjiv Ranjan will soon take up the foreign assignment as Secretary General of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Secretariat in Mauritius. Mr. Ranjan will take up the assignment for a three-year term.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the Ministry of External Affairs’ proposal to allow him to take up this assignment starting from January 1, 2025, including the period leading up to his superannuation on January 31, 2026.
