Dehradun: On the third day of the monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, the supplementary budget will be passed by the House. Regarding the supplementary budget, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said that the state government does not want to let the budget for development schemes in the state decrease. Through the supplementary budget, the schemes of the state and the center will get momentum. Budget will also be allocated for the departments which needed the budget.
Chief Minister Dhami said, “Our general budget could not be implemented for some reason, but in this supplementary budget, the poor have been given prominence. At present, a complete framework has been prepared to resolve the problems being faced by the poor, which will be implemented in the coming days. Apart from this, special focus will be given on the skills of the youth, so that they can play an important role in the development of the country and the state.”
He said, “In this supplementary budget, special prominence has been given to the mother power and farmers. In the supplementary budget, we have tried to implement all the schemes being run by the central government for the state, we have discussed extensively about how to implement them. We have tried to ensure through the budget that no person remains untouched by development. If someone remains so, then we should take appropriate steps to provide all kinds of benefits from our level. The Chief Minister further said, “Apart from this, we have also tried to ensure through the budget that there is no damage to the assets of our state and in future we leave a good environment for our next generation. We will have to make significant efforts in this direction, so overall I would like to say that we have prepared a blueprint of the supplementary budget to remove the shortcomings in the general budget. I would like to reiterate one thing again that whatever outline we have laid down in this, we will now take steps to implement it on the ground in the coming days. If any officer fails to do so, then we will try to remove him from the system. We would like the entire system to function smoothly.”
