Successful youth in PCS exam expressed gratitude to CM Dhami, said – Strict anti-cheating law lived up to the expectations of the youth

Dehradun: The strict anti-cheating law has lived up to the hopes and aspirations of the talented youth of the state. The promising candidates who have achieved success in the recently released PCS exam results have expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who first brought this law in the country. The successful candidates said that the implementation of strict anti-cheating law has not only brought transparency in competitive examinations but has also ensured that only eligible and qualified candidates will be selected in these examinations. Now talented youth are getting better and desired opportunities for government service.

The strict anti-cheating law of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami government has not only become an example for many states of the country, but many of its provisions have also been adopted by the Central Government. The copy mafia in the state had been a shadow for the future of talented youth for years. Today, due to the collapse of the network of copy mafia, competitive examinations are being conducted with transparency and fairness. Promising candidates are succeeding in not one but three to four examinations.

Through the recently released PCS exam results, the state has got a total of 289 officers in various departments including 10 Deputy Collectors and 10 Deputy Superintendents of Police. These mainly include 32 Deputy Education Officers,

28 Block Development Officers, 28 State Tax Officers, 20 Horticulture Development Officers, 19 Child Development Project Officers, 18 Finance Officers, 17 Assistant Directors of Industries, 16 Assistant Commissioners of State Tax, 11 District Information Officers and 11 ARTOs. Earlier, in UKSSSC examinations, many candidates have succeeded in more than one examination.

More than 16 thousand youth got government jobs in three years

The campaign to fill the vacant posts of officers and employees in state government departments is in full swing. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has made a record of recruitment to more than 16 thousand posts in various departments of the state government during his three-year tenure. Not only this, the Dhami government also has the record of giving appointment on time. Employment has been the priority of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Along with creating more and more employment opportunities in the private sector, the government is constantly working to fill government posts.

More than 80 accused behind bars

By implementing strict anti-cheating law in the state, the Dhami government has demolished the network of copy mafia. Under the law, more than 80 accused have been put behind bars. Even the top officials and those with political connections have not been spared.

There is a provision for the harshest punishment

Let us tell you that under this law, there is a provision of life imprisonment or 10 years imprisonment for the copy mafia. A fine of up to Rs 10 crore can be imposed against the copy mafia who leaks the papers of competitive examinations, as well as his property can also be confiscated. It has also been provided in the Act that if a student is caught leaking the paper in the recruitment examinations or passes the examination through cheating, then a ban of 10 years can be imposed on him.

I am currently working as a Naib Tehsildar in Almora. I have been selected for the post of Finance Officer. I would like to thank the Chief Minister, on whose initiative the anti-cheating law was brought. This has increased transparency in competitive examinations. Along with increasing confidence in the candidates towards the selection process, their morale has also increased to work hard further.
