The government of Madhya Pradesh has recently mandated the former Special Director General of Police, Mr. Vijay Yadav, as the Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of the state. Officer Yadav (1987-batch retired IPS officer) has now become one of the four information commissioners — including Mr. Umashankar Pachouri (educationist), Ms. Vandana Gandhi (social worker), and Mr. Omkar Nath (retired judge).
