7 thousand posts of NCC will increase in Uttarakhand, Central Government has given approval

Dehradun: In the biennial program of the United State Representatives of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) held in New Delhi, the Ministry of Defense has given its approval to the expansion of NCC in Uttarakhand. Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, while participating in this meeting, put forward his point regarding the expansion and budget of NCC. In this way, this is a great news for the youth who wish to join NCC in the state. After the approval of the Center during the meeting, now 7 and a half thousand new cadets will be able to be recruited in the state.

Education ministers from all over the country and senior officials of the Ministry of Defense were also present in this meeting convened in New Delhi. During this, the state put forth its point on many important points. In this, along with meeting the financial need, the establishment of new infrastructure related to training and camp was also discussed. It was clarified in the meeting that the demand for NCC is increasing rapidly in the educational institutions of the state. For this, the demand for recruitment of 10 thousand cadets was put forward by the state. Out of which 7500 were approved. The good thing is that 50 percent of the girls cadets will be recruited.

More than 55 thousand cadets included

Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that currently there are 55 thousand 214 NCC cadets in the educational institutions of the state. This includes 23 thousand 534 cadets under secondary education and 31 thousand 680 cadets under higher education. Currently NCC is being run in 561 educational institutions in the state.

On this occasion, Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the Center has assured that efforts will be made to fulfill every need of the state and the demand related to the budget will also see a positive attitude.
