Dhami listened to PM’s Mann Ki Baat, Modi discussed the Thank you Nature campaign being run in the village of Uttarkashi in the program

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to the 114th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat in Anarwala, Dehradun. The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat program always inspires everyone to do better work regarding social concerns. He said that on the occasion of the commencement of Navratri, on 03 October 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program is completing 10 years. In ten years, through this program, the Prime Minister has inspired people to do good work by mentioning many works done in public interest by social organizations and people doing commendable work in different areas of the country. Taking inspiration from this program, many commendable works are also being done by the people.

The Chief Minister said that today in the Mann Ki Baat program, the Prime Minister mentioned Jhala, a border village of Uttarkashi in the state. The youth here have started a special initiative to keep their village clean. He is running a ‘Dhanyavad Prakriti’ campaign in his village. This is a commendable initiative in the field of cleanliness. Under this, cleaning is done in the village for two hours every day. The garbage scattered in the streets of the village is collected and dumped at a designated place outside the village. Due to this, Jhala village is also becoming clean and people are also becoming aware. He has appealed to the people of the state that such cleanliness programs should be run in every area of ​​the state with public cooperation. To further promote tourism in the state, the state government is paying special attention to the cleanliness campaign.

The Chief Minister has appealed to the people of the state that we all have to contribute to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to make India a developed nation by 2047. Special attention has to be given to ‘Vocal for Local’ to promote local products. By purchasing local products during festivals, we have to contribute to increasing the livelihood of people at the local level. He appealed to the people of the state that we have to promote our heritage along with development. Continuous efforts have to be made towards the preservation of our local language, dialects and culture.

Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special attachment to Uttarakhand. He has always mentioned Uttarakhand’s Bal Mithai or Aipan art and today he mentioned Jhala village of Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. He said that the youth of this village clean the village for two hours every day. This is making the village clean and people are also becoming aware. He appealed to everyone to listen to the Mann Ki Baat program.
