Dehradun: On the initiative of Uttarakhand Vikas Parishad, Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam has launched a 5-day tour package for visiting Mount Kailash. This package also includes darshan of two other Dhams of Lord Shiva, Adi Kailash and Om Parvat. In this package, the first 5-member group of passengers visited Mount Kailash today on Thursday. The group of passengers was taken to a place called Gunji in Pithoragarh via helicopter on Wednesday. On Thursday, all the passengers were given darshan of Om Parvat and Kailash Parvat from Old Lipulekh by road.

5 day package

The Uttarakhand government has taken out this package for 5 days. On the first day i.e. on October 3, Kailash Parvat was shown. A 5-member team of passengers did darshan from the 18 thousand feet high Lipulekh hills of Pithoragarh. Earlier, devotees had to go to Tibet to visit Mount Kailash, after this there is no need to go there.

Om Parvat will also be visible

For this, the Pushkar Singh Dhami government has geared up for the successful conduct of the Yatra by taking permission from the Central Government. On Thursday, all the passengers were given darshan of Om Parvat and Kailash Parvat from Old Lipulekh by road. Tomorrow all these passengers will be given darshan of Adi Kailash from Jaolikang, after which they will stop for rest in Gunji. The next morning on October 5, all the passengers will be brought back to Pithoragarh by helicopter.

The Yatra was closed since the Corona period

Before the Corona period, the Central Government used to organize Kailash Mansarovar Yatra through Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam. Then Shiva devotees used to visit Kailash Mansarovar by crossing the China border on foot from Lipu Pass. This journey was closed since the Corona period. On the other hand, due to the India-China dispute, the Chinese government has not yet given its consent to the Government of India for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. For a long time, Shiva devotees were eager to visit Kailash Mansarovar. In view of this, the central government decided to make the devotees visit the holy Kailash mountain from the land of India itself.
