Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched ‘Three-pillar and nine-point strategy program’ for balance in economy and ecology in the state. To balance ecology and economy in the state, a strategy has been formulated by the Planning Department on three pillars – Community Empowerment Campaign, Innovation and Technology Campaign and Financial Autonomy and Literacy Campaign under the guidance of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that we all have to make our special contribution to fulfill the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a developed India. Along with development, the state government is paying special attention to environmental balance. He has expected from all the departments that all the departments will work fast on the ‘Three-pillar and nine-point strategy program’ which has been launched today. All departments have to take a pledge on the holy festival of Navratri and move forward in the direction of working by maintaining a balance between the economy and ecology of the state.
A three-point strategy has been prepared for each pillar to balance the economy and ecology of the state. Under the first pillar Community Empowerment Campaign, the three points are recycling of traditional practices, behavior change for proper consumption and skill upgradation of youth. Under the second pillar Innovation and Technology Campaign, the three points are promotion of green technology, technology-based quick solutions and adoption of circular economy. Under the third pillar Financial Autonomy and Literacy Campaign, the three points are standardization of green practices, participation for carbon credit and strategy for bridge funding for sustainable projects.
