Dussehra celebrations in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, Dhami wishes the people of the state, 65 feet ‘Ravan’ will be burnt in Dehradun, CM will participate in the program

Dehradun: Like every time, this time also the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakaran and Meghnad have been erected in the Parade Ground, which will be burnt on the occasion of Vijayadashami as a symbol of victory of good over evil. This program of Ravana Dahan will start at 5:00 pm, in which Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will be the main participant. This year a 65 feet high effigy of Ravana will be burnt, while the effigy of Kumbhakaran has been made 60 feet and the effigy of Meghnad 55 feet. Along with this, a Lanka of 24 square feet has also been made.

At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has congratulated and wished the people of the state on the occasion of Vijayadashami / Dussehra festival. In his message issued on Vijayadashami, the Chief Minister said that the festival of Vijayadashami is a symbol of the victory of Dharma over Adharma, goodness over evil and truth over untruth. This festival inspires all of us to abandon the evils within us and follow the path of virtue in life. This holy festival also always reminds us that those who support the truth always win. The Chief Minister said that today the need is that we should be free from ego in our lives and walk on the path of truth and work together for the social harmony of the state and the country. The CM said that on this auspicious festival of victory of Dharma and truth, it is my prayer at the feet of Lord Shri Ram that everyone should be happy, everyone should be blessed and prosperous, there should be happiness, prosperity and well-being in every home.
