Gift of development works just before the Kedarnath by-election code of conduct, government approves Rs 13.89 crore

Dehradun: The date for the by-election on the Kedarnath assembly seat of Uttarakhand can be announced today. Before that, the government is issuing financial approval related to all the development works proposed for Kedarnath Dham. So that, before the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct in Rudraprayag district, budget approval related to all the development works is issued. So that development works can be done even during the Model Code of Conduct. In this episode, on the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the government has approved an amount of Rs 13 crore 89 lakh 75 thousand for all the works in Kedar Valley.

These development works will get wings

Under the state scheme, an amount of Rs 5 crore 35 lakh 10 thousand has been approved for the improvement and asphalting of Chandrapuri Gugli-Aso-Jaykaran-D motor road in Agastyamuni development block. The length of this road is 5 km. Apart from this, under the state plan, approval of Rs 17.71 lakh has been given for the construction of double lane class A loading 95 meter span steel girder motor bridge and reconstruction of 2.50 km road on Alaknanda river between Sari Gauchar in development block Agastyamuni.

Along with this, financial approval has been given for two construction works in Kedarnath assembly constituency under the state plan. In which, improvement and asphalting work will be done on the length of 8.50 km from Guptkashi-Jakhdhar-Tayudi motor road in development block Ukhimath at a cost of Rs 471.87 lakh.

Apart from this, approval has been given for the improvement and asphalting of the length of 4.50 km from Andargadhi to Dhartoliyan motor road in development block Augustmuni at a cost of Rs 365.07 lakh. Till now, the government has approved an amount of more than Rs 25 crore related to 28 development works for Kedarnath assembly constituency.
