Dehradun: More than three lakh government employees and pensioners of the state will be paid the salary and pension of the current month before the Diwali festival. The disappointment among the employees due to no proposal in this regard in the cabinet on Wednesday turned into happiness late in the evening.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved the file in this regard and asked the Finance Department to issue orders soon. Additional Chief Secretary Finance Anand Bardhan issued orders in this regard to all the department heads, district magistrates, treasury directors and all senior treasury officers.
