Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday inaugurated the 66 feet high National Flag Memorial at Sarvechowk, EC Road Dehradun, under the Smart City Project. On this occasion, he also inaugurated the main gate of Paltan Bazaar.
This National Flag Memorial has been established in Sarvechowk Dehradun for the feeling of nationalism and love for the country. This route connects the main places of Dehradun, Rashtrapati Aashiyana, Raj Bhavan, Chief Minister’s residence, Secretariat of Uttarakhand Government and other important institutions. The establishment of the National Flag Memorial at this place has been tried to awaken the feeling of patriotism and nationalism in the hearts of the general public.
On this occasion, MLA Khajan Das, Vice President Uttarakhand Culture Literature and Arts Council Mrs. Madhu Bhatt, BJP Metropolitan President Siddharth Agarwal, and Smart City Project officials were present.
