Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the cleanliness program at the Race Course on the eve of State Foundation Day and gave the message of cleanliness by sweeping. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the QR scanner made for street light complaints under Dehradun Municipal Corporation. This scanner will be installed on the street light poles installed under Dehradun Municipal Corporation. In case of street light failure, any person can scan it and register a complaint.
The Chief Minister said that cleanliness and service programs are being organized across the state today in memory of those who died in the bus accident at Marchula in Almora. The Chief Minister has prayed to God for the peace of the souls of those who died in the bus accident and the speedy recovery of the injured.
The Chief Minister said that as a result of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi 10 years ago, awareness among people towards cleanliness increased across the country. The Prime Minister’s vision of a clean and healthy India is coming true.
The Chief Minister said that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is an important state in terms of tourism and pilgrimage. He has appealed to all the people of the state to make cleanliness their regular routine and keep Devbhoomi Uttarakhand clean.
