MP: Hours After Transferring 21 Officers, Govt Shuffles 5 More IAS Officers, Nidhi Nivedita Appointed MD, Fisheries Federation

In a swift move following the transfer of 21 officers late last night, the Madhya Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, has announced the reshuffling of five more senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.

Among the changes, Nidhi Nivedita, a 2012-batch officer, has been appointed Managing Director of the Fisheries Federation, after serving as MD of the Women Finance and Development Corporation.

Another 2012-batch officer, Kumar Purushottam, currently Deputy Secretary in the Backward Class and Minority Welfare Department, will now take over as Managing Director of the Agriculture Marketing Board.

In a further reshuffle, Uma Maheshwari R., a 2013-batch officer and Additional Mission Director at the State Education Centre, has been reassigned to lead the Indian Medical System and Homeopathy Department.

Saloni Sidana, a 2014-batch officer, moves from her position as OSD-cum-Commissioner-cum-Director of the Indian Medical System and Homeopathy to become the Mission Director of the National Health Mission.

Lastly, Shuchismita Saxena, a promotee officer and Deputy Secretary in the Revenue Department, has been transferred to the role of Deputy Secretary in the Public Health and Medical Education Department.
