Dehradun: Uttarakhand Forest Department is going to get 8 IFS officers. Actually, the meeting of (Departmental Promotion Committee) DPC of eight officers of the State Forest Service is going to be held in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Delhi. After which the Senior Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) officers who have been waiting for promotion for a long time will be promoted to Indian Forest Service (IFS). Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary Forest RK Sudhanshu and Head of Forest Department Dhananjay Mohan have attended the DPC meeting in UPSC.
Journey from Ranger to IFS
Senior ACF officers of Uttarakhand Forest Department are going to get great news. Actually, DPC of these officers who have been waiting for their promotion for a long time is going to be held in UPSC. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary Forest RK Sudhanshu and Chief Forest Conservator Dhananjay Mohan have also attended this meeting. The special thing is that after the DPC, Uttarakhand will get 8 IFS officers. These are the officers who are going to travel from Ranger to IFS officer in the department.
These officers will be promoted to IFS
The eight officers who are going to be promoted as IFS in Uttarakhand Forest Department. They include Anil Tamta, Karuna Nidhi Bharti, Umesh Chandra Tiwari, Naveen Chandra Pant, Prakash Chandra Arya, Rangnath Pandey, Devi Prasad Baluni and Dhruv Singh Martolia. Anil Tamta is going to retire on November 30 this month. Anil Tamta has been posted in Jalgam for a long time. In such a situation, the government is going to give him great news before retirement.
The promotion of Senior ACF is being done in relation to the vacancy between 2020 and 2023. In this, Anil Tamta from the year 2020, while five officers including Karuna Nidhi Bharti, Umesh Chandra Tiwari, Naveen Pant, Prakash Chandra Arya and Ranganath Pandey in the year 2021 and DP Baluni, Dhruv Singh Martolia from 2022 were to get promotion as per the vacancy. Dhruv Singh Martolia was recently suspended in the case of fire in Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. But later his suspension was withdrawn. And that is why now he is getting the benefit of promotion.
This was the reason for not getting promotion
Actually, due to seniority dispute between ACF officers, these officers could not get promoted on time. And this matter was pending due to being in the court. But later after the dispute is over, now the government is going to give them the benefit of promotion. Two posts in the IFS from State Forest Service are vacant in the year 2020, 7 posts in the year 2021 and 13 posts in the year 2022.
For this, the Uttarakhand government was working hard for a long time and after this, a DPC meeting was fixed at 5 pm on Wednesday in UPSC to put the final seal on it. For which the concerned officials left for Delhi.
