Yatra will be started for the winter stay sites of Chardham, Dhami gave instructions to give 10 percent discount in rent in GMVN hotels

Dehradun: During a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to start the Yatra for the winter stay sites of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham and also promote it on a wide scale. For the devotees coming to these winter stay sites, a 10 percent discount should be provided in the rent on staying in the hotels of Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation. The Chief Minister will also review the travel arrangements for the winter stay sites next week.

The Chief Minister had directed all the departments to work on short-term and long-term plans for the action plan of Strong Uttarakhand in the Silver Utsav year of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister will also review it next week. The Chief Minister said that continuous efforts are being made by the State Government to take the state forward in accordance with the expectations and hopes of the people who played an important role in the formation of the state of Uttarakhand. With the cooperation of the God-like people of the state, the state government is working rapidly in all areas to bring Uttarakhand in the category of leading states in every field.

The Chief Minister directed the officials in the meeting that Road Accident Safety Manual should be made soon to prevent road accidents. The Chief Minister has instructed the Director General of Police to increase night patrolling and also increase the police force on the roads in view of road safety. To make Devbhoomi Uttarakhand a drug free state by 2025, the Chief Minister has directed all the concerned departments to run an intensive campaign. He has asked to keep regular vigil on those selling narcotics and take strict action against those found involved in it. The Chief Minister has also given instructions to do regular verification of outsiders living on rent.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will soon visit the districts and stay overnight. During this, the Chief Minister will also inspect the development works along with public hearing and various arrangements and cleanliness works in municipal bodies and government offices. For this, he has given instructions to issue a roster.
