Dehradun: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday launched the promo and poster of the first Jaunsari feature film “Mairai Gaon Ki Baat”. On this occasion, he said that the state government is giving full support in the production and promotion of regional films to promote regional culture.
In a function organized at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that after the formation of the state, now the first Jaunsari feature film is ready. Through this film, there will be an opportunity to see and know the rich culture, heritage, customs of Jaunsar. Appealing to the audience to watch the film, he said that, every possible help is being given by the state government in the production and promotion of films made in regional dialects. In this sequence, the government has come up with a new film policy. The government is of the opinion that the local people of Uttarakhand can move forward in every field. Congratulating actor Abhinav Chauhan, he said that his Garhwali film Asgar was also a superhit.
The Chief Minister said that the government is making a master plan for Hanol temple, after which this area is emerging as a big destination for pilgrims and tourists. He had presented a replica of Hanol temple to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The film has been conceptualised by KS Chauhan, the director of the film is Anuj Joshi.
