Dehradun: The 38th National Games are going to start in Uttarakhand from January 28. Only 50 days are left for the National Games. In such a situation, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself has taken charge. In this episode, today CM Dhami held an important meeting at the Sports Secretariat located at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Dehradun. In which he gave necessary guidelines to the officials. Sports Minister Rekha Arya, Chief Secretary and Secretaries of all departments including IAS officers were present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed all the officers in the meeting to maintain mutual harmony in view of the National Games and complete all the necessary work with coordination. He also said that if anyone is negligent in this work, then strict action will also be taken against him. He directed to approve all the technical subjects proposed at the government level as soon as possible. He also said that no work related to the National Games should stop due to any administrative laxity.
Uttarakhand has got the hosting of National Games
After the meeting, CM Dhami met the media. Where he said that this is the first time in 24 years that Uttarakhand has got the hosting of the National Games. Uttarakhand has many such big experiences, under which this small state has successfully done big events like G20.
Apart from this, Uttarakhand has demonstrated its potential by organizing Global Investor Summit and many such big events. He said that the upcoming National Games is not just an event of the government or the sports department, but it is an event of the whole of Uttarakhand. In which every person has to play his important role.
Players will be given a grand welcome
CM Pushkar Dhami, citing the example of the G20 Summit, said that the way the women power, artists associated with the cultural field, youth and people from every section played their important role in the G20 Summit and welcomed the delegation. In the same way, players and sports persons coming from all over the country have to be welcomed in the National Games. He said that we need to create a cordial atmosphere in the entire state. It should be seen that the whole of Uttarakhand is included in the 38th National Games.
