In a significant development, IPS officer G Satishkumar Ishwardas (IPS: 2002: OD) has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued an official order on December 6, confirming his appointment.
According to the order, the appointment is valid until Mr. Ishwardas’s superannuation on September 30, 2028, or until further orders, whichever comes first. His new role in the CRPF will see him overseeing key responsibilities within the force, contributing his extensive experience in law enforcement.
