Change in the responsibility of 5 IPS officers in Uttarakhand, Rajiv Swaroop Appointed IG Garhwal

Dehradun: A few days ago, there were changes in the administration of IAS officers in Uttarakhand. Now the Uttarakhand government issued an order to change the responsibilities of 5 IPS officers on December 11 late evening. ADG Amit Sinha will now only have the responsibility of the Sports Department in the administration. In view of the National Games, the responsibility of CCTNS has also been removed from him.

  • The responsibility of Additional Director General of Police and CCTNS and Telecommunication has been taken away from IPS Amit Kumar Sinha. Now he has the responsibility of Special Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare and FSL.
  • At the same time, IPS V Murugeshan has been given the additional responsibility of Additional Director General of Police, Crime and Law and Order. He also has the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police, CID / Director, Vigilance.
  • IPS AP Anshuman has been given the additional responsibility of Additional Director General of Police CCTNS and Telecommunication. He already holds the charge of Additional Director General of Police, Administration/Intelligence and Security/PAC.
  • Taking over the charge of Inspector General of Police, Garhwal Range from IPS Karan Singh Nagnyal, he has been given the responsibility of Inspector General of Police, Security (Intelligence Headquarters).
  • Taking over the charge of Inspector General of Police, Security (Intelligence Headquarters) from IPS Rajiv Swaroop, he has been given the responsibility of Inspector General of Police, Garhwal Range.

It is worth noting that after the departure of former in-charge DGP Abhinav Kumar, no one had the responsibility of law and order in the Uttarakhand Police Headquarters. Now this responsibility will once again be taken over by ADG V Murugeshan. Murugeshan will also continue to hold the charge of CBCID and Director Vigilance.
