Dehradun: For the first time in Uttarakhand, the World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo has been inaugurated. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Minister of State Pratap Rao Jadhav inaugurated the four-day 10th World Ayurveda Conference organized at Parade Ground, Dehradun. Delegates from many countries including America, Britain, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Italy have participated in the conference. During the inauguration program, AYUSH experts expressed their opinion. It was also emphasized that traditional medical science should be linked with modern technology, so that the public can get its benefit.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is a matter of pride for us that delegates from more than 50 countries have participated in the 10th World Ayurveda Conference and Arogya Expo organized in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. This conference will prove effective in sharing research as well as promoting business. The herbs found in the state are playing an important role in health. Ayurveda is not limited to herbs only, but is an art of living a healthy life. The purpose of Ayurveda is not only to cure diseases, but to prevent diseases from occurring as well as eradicate the disease from the root.
CM Dhami said that the work of nature testing is going on in the whole country. In this sequence, the Uttarakhand government is also working to promote AYUSH in the state. Under this, a 50-bed Ayush hospital is being built in all the districts of the state. Work is being done on implementing the country’s first yoga policy, which will play an important role in bringing a revolution in the field of health. A request has been made to the Ayush Ministry for an All India Ayurveda Institute in Uttarakhand. Stalls of 8 departments have been set up in the conference. The CM said that there are many types of herbs whose names people know in Hindi, but not in English. In such a situation, along with the Hindi names of the herbs, their English names should also be promoted. This conference will play an important role in connecting traditional medical science with modern technology. The CM said that this conference being held in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand will strengthen the natural, cultural method of the state. It will also work to take it to every corner of the world. Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is the land of yoga, the land of Ayush. It is also a suitable land for many plants. Sages and saints have done research here.
