Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Radha Raturi held a meeting with the officials in the Secretariat on Tuesday, 17 December. During this, she held a review meeting of the health facilities of different districts of the state. At the same time, some big announcements have also been made regarding health facilities in some districts. Apart from this, the Chief Secretary also gave instructions to install solar rooftop panels on all government buildings.
Regarding the solar rooftop panel, the Chief Secretary has given clear instructions to the officials that work in this direction should start from today itself. The government is trying to install solar rooftop panels on as many buildings as possible. For this, he also directed all the officers of the concerned department.
Apart from this, the Chief Secretary has directed the Secretary Health to deploy adequate doctors in these areas after conducting maternal death audit in sensitive areas with high maternal mortality rate. In the meeting, instructions have also been issued for CM Dhami’s Champawat seat. Financial approval has been given for construction of parking on lower ground floor, diagnostic wing and OT on first and second floor in Champawat.
In fact, for a long time the people of this area were demanding from CM Dhami to increase medical facilities, after which orders have been given to increase health facilities as well. At the same time, Uttarkashi has also got a gift after today’s meeting. Approval was given on the proposal to upgrade the Community Health Center Purola of Uttarkashi as a sub-district hospital.
CS has given instructions to pay special attention to river protection work in this scheme. Along with this, he gave in-principle and financial approval to the construction of 50-bed critical care block in Sub District Hospital Roorkee in district Haridwar, construction work of building/hostel of Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya Bageshwar and construction work of 50-bed sub-district hospital building and residential building in Khanpur of district Haridwar.
