Dehradun: In Uttarakhand, IAS officers have got the gift of promotion in the last days of the year 2024. Especially the wait of IAS officers of the year 2009 batch is over, who were waiting for promotion to the post of secretary for a long time. However, apart from this, IAS officers of 2012 and 2021 batch have also been promoted.
Seven IAS officers in the state have got promotion to the post of secretary. Actually, IAS officers of the year 2009 batch were to be promoted to the post of secretary. Regarding which the government has issued an order. Among these officers who got promotion, two officers are on deputation. Hence they have been given proforma promotion.
These seven officers of the year 2009 batch include IAS Dr. Raghav Langer, Savin Bansal, C Ravishankar, Jyoti Yadav, Jugal Kishore Pant, Ranveer Singh Chauhan and Dhiraj Garbyal. Raghav Langer and Jyoti Yadav have been on deputation for a long time. The promotion approval date of all these officers has been kept as 1 January 2025.
The government has issued orders related to the promotion of some more IAS officers. This includes four officers of the 2012 batch. These officers include Ashish Kumar Chauhan, Vijay Kumar Jogdande, Mangesh Ghildiyal and Swati S Bhadauria. At present, Mangesh Ghildiyal is on central deputation. These officers will get the benefit of increased pay scale after promotion.
Apart from this, three IAS officers of the year 2021 have also been promoted. All these officers have been promoted to the Senior Time Scale. The officers who got promotion include Varuna Agarwal, Ashish Kumar Mishra and Anamika.
