Dhami government released the calendar of holidays in the new year, there will be 25 public holidays and 17 restricted holidays in 2025

Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has issued an order for holidays for the year 2025. According to the notification issued by the Uttarakhand government, there will be a total of 25 public holidays in the year 2025. At the same time, the number of restricted holidays will be 17.

The Uttarakhand government released this calendar publicly on the evening of 30 December. In terms of holidays, there is only one holiday in the first month of the year i.e. January, i.e. Gantantra Day (26 January). By the way, this time 26 January is falling on Sunday. Apart from this, Makar Sankranti is on 14 January as a restricted holiday.

At the same time, there is a holiday of Mahashivratri in February. Mahashivratri (26 February) is on Wednesday. Apart from this, Basant Panchami is on February 2, Guru Ravidas Jayanti (12 February) and Shab-e-Barat (14 February) are restricted holidays. There are three holidays in the month of March, including Holika Dahan on 13 March, Holi on 14 March and Eid-ut-Fitr on 31 March. Talking about the restricted holiday in March, it is Jamaat-ul-Vida on 12 March.

Along with this, there will be four public holidays in April. Ram Navami on 6 April, Mahavir Jayanti on 10 April, Ambedkar Jayanti on 14 April, Good Friday on 18 April. There are two restricted holidays in April, including Vaisakhi on 13 April and Inter Monday on 21 April.
