CM Dhami met the Union Sports Minister, made this demand for Almora and Dehradun

Dehradun: National Games are to be held in Uttarakhand this month. In such a situation, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all the ministers of the Center regarding the preparation of the National Games. In this episode, today CM Dhami met Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. In this meeting held in Delhi, CM Dhami gave him all the information related to the National Games and also invited him to come to Uttarakhand during the games.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami requested the Union Sports Minister to approve funds for the construction of high-level sports facilities (High Altitude Center) at Dinapani in Almora and the establishment of a multi-purpose sports hall to provide high-level training to the players at each development block level. Along with this, the Chief Minister requested approval of funds for the upgradation of the adventure training center run by the state government in Shivpuri, Tehri, along with the approval of the earlier proposal for the operation of the ice skating ring located in the Maharana Pratap Sports College campus in Dehradun.

Chief Minister Dhami requested the Union Sports Minister for financial assistance for the construction of indoor artificial rock climbing wall on the land of Women’s Sports College in Champawat. The CM spoke to the Sports Minister about all the districts of the state. The CM further said in the conversation that the Sports Ministry should take the trouble of approving high-level sports facilities to the players of the state. Which will provide new energy to the morale and enthusiasm of the players of the state. At the same time, during the conversation with the CM, the Union Sports Minister said that the Center will provide all possible support for the development of sports infrastructural facilities in Uttarakhand.
