Haridwar: The 50th National Junior Kabaddi Competition has started in Haridwar before the 38th National Games. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the competition organized at Vandana Kataria Sports Stadium in Roshanabad. He interacted with the players participating in the competition and himself also challenged the teams with Kabaddi-Kabaddi. The players were very excited by this style of the CM and greeted him.
During this, CM Dhami also shared his experiences with the players. He said that Kabaddi is a game which has a wonderful mix of agility, strength, speed, patience, passion and team spirit. Linking his student life experience to political challenges, he said in a witty manner that I have played a lot of Kabaddi in student life. After coming into politics, I am becoming proficient with the tricks and experience of the same Kabaddi.
Said, the opportunity to host is a matter of pride
The CM welcomed all the players who came to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. He said that it is a matter of pride for us that Uttarakhand has got the opportunity to host the National Junior Kabaddi Championship. Expressing his passion for the game and the players, he said that there is always an effort to make the youth participate in it.
