Many officers associated with the Indian Forest Service in the Uttarakhand Forest Department are going to get the gift of promotion. Actually, the Uttarakhand government had sent a letter to the Center regarding taking consent for the promotion of officers. On which the Center has now given its consent. In such a situation, now the way for the promotion of Forest Department officers has been cleared. However, it is being said that the consent of the Center was not required for promotion in Ex Cadre (Created Temporary Post), but earlier during the DPC meeting, due to lack of homework on this point, a decision on promotion could not be taken.

This time there is preparation for promotion on various posts in the Forest Department. In which IFS officer Kapil Lal is to be promoted to PCCF level. Similarly, IFS officer Meenakshi Joshi is to be promoted to APCCF rank. Not only this, there is also a post at CF rank. For which a senior DFO rank officer is to be promoted.

Now the wait is for the DPC meeting to be held for promotion. In this meeting to be held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, promotions to various posts are to be given the green signal.

Promotions are also to be done on some other posts in relation to the vacancies in the state. For which the government has prepared a blueprint. However, right now the first priority is promotions to CCF, APCCF and CF ranks.
